October saw a spike in post views....900 for the month and nine countries. Thank you very much for continued interest....and believe me, this blog will be getting serious ( not that it hasn't been ), but will be bringing so much more.
Ah November....the cooler days, shorter daylight hours and politicians seeking re-election. Not this November, but next year. They are "on notice" now. 33 of the 100 seats are up for election....I am hoping to see 33 new faces.....heck....I would love to see 100 new faces in the Senate....as long as they aren't lawyers, bankers or have some big business in their back pocket.
100 Senators and 435 Representatives make up what's called " Congress ". Of that number, 244 are millionaires, roughly 46%. Anyone want to guess how many millionaires there are in America....not the number....just a percentage. One percent of the population. I feel like the 99% so much more after reading that. I'm just not as disenfranchised as the OWS. What's hilarious is that they use ( on a daily basis ) the very services that the "evil, greedy folks" provide. From banks, to coffee shops to cell phones with expensive plans....did I mention that I paid back my student loan?
Folks, read up, gear up and do some research before next years vote. Take a third of what you hear each candidate say they will do, divide it by the number of lies and the occasional "mis-spokes" and make an honest choice.
