Perhaps I under thought or over expected…..I will continue.

 Although Face Book can hardly be credited for initiating anything,  with exception to frustration with each and every new update or improvement, one cannot deny that social networking is literally the “wave” of the future.  An idea that starts with one or a few, can be shared with millions with a flick of the wrist, a few keystrokes and pressing “enter”.    What once took days or weeks to organize, can now take mere minutes.  For better or worse, it’s happening and the time is now.

   The Arab Spring.   What started on Dec. 17^th 2010 in Tunisia with the self immolation of Mohamed Bouazizi in Tunisia has yet to play out.  Between news reports and social networking sites, the movement has grown to include 17 countries, with the potential for more to follow.  I was never in favor of Autocratic rule. Google...over 18,000,000 results.

  Green Peace/ Anti Coal Movement.   This started around 2010 also, although there have been many groups that advocate for solar power or nuclear power for many years prior to 2010.  There are several groups on Face Book, and Google found me no less than 88,000 more.

   Occupy Wall Street.   This began last month and has grown by leaps and bounds in the few short weeks that it has been in the “radar”.  Apparently bad press is good press….as much as good press is good.  Does that make sense?  I read a little deeper into their “wish list”.  A couple items that brought me pause were the federal raising of minimum wage to $20 per hour, a few trillion dollars to clean up some streams and forgiveness of the planets debts….is that just a nice way to say Chapter 11?  Google....over 22,000,000 results

  Trevor for President 2016.   Using the same social networks, minus newspapers and main stream media, with a grand idea…one that a mere mortal can build a campaign from  nothing, run for president and win.  That idea, though not gone…has been little cause for fanfare or support.  I  appreciate the followers I do have and look forward to providing you posts that have substance, wit, charm and above all….the truth.   This will be the last post that is shared via Face Book.   Thanks again all, and for some…good bye.  Google....near 2,000,000 results with only one reference to my actual blog and just over 870 views in 6 weeks.
