This was in Madison Wisconsin. It was 2008, after a deployment, and I touring the states in an epic road trip. I met a dear friend and true soldier supporter, Judy L. and we toured the gardens one day. What made the trip even more interesting was meeting the Commander for Guard forces in Wisconsin, at Olbrich Gardens. We talked briefly, then walked through the gardens. Was wonderful to see the plants in bloom and to be touring the garden with a friend. I will be showcasing troop support and friends here as much as I can. Our next stop on this venture will be Germany. I spent three years there and made many great friends, and had many great times!!
