Dear friends and readers,
The attack 70 years ago, intended to stop U.S. interference with the Japanese Empire and it's military campaign, only strengthened U.S. resolve and forced us into WWII. There were other actions that could be deemed 'precursors' to U.S. involvement, but none so remembered as Dec. 7th, 1941. I am honored to be a member of the Armed Forces, and consider any loss, whether from the past or the future, as a loss of a brother or sister. I know that the attack that morning was a surprise, but that all the soldiers and sailors there responded. My thoughts go to the families of those lost on that day.
I will have a second post a little later today. Going to look a little deeper into lobbyist activities of the past and the ripple effect caused by their activities.
Have a great day....
Trevor
