Dear friends and readers,
As of yet, I have received no emails from Senators or the President. I am surprised as anyone that the man I thought would win the G.O.P. lasted as long as he did. He continued to press on after four women identified him as an alleged harasser ( of a sexual nature ). Only after it came to light that he may have had an affair ( alleged ) for the last 13 years. I am, of course talking about Herman Cain. Thirteen years? In todays society, where everyone has a camera phone or pocket size cam corder, does anyone think that they are "free" to do anything. More people are concerned about "Big Brother" or Government spying on them, than the fact that their neighbor or friends may get video of them when they least expect it.
What is the Republican party left with now? A man named for some sports equipment ( Mitt ) or a lizard ( Newt ). Not that these two don't have their own problems, either in the present or past....I won't go into detail....if it's that interesting, you can google them.
Not long ago, I thought how crazy it was to have 10 or more of each party vie for the one spot on the ballot reserved for their party. Now it makes sense. It would be better though, if they were lost through debate or stance versus their own lack of morals. Are the Democrats and Republicans incapable of finding more than one person that is even somewhat "wholesome" and worthy?
I leave this post today....with a tribute to Herman Cain.
