I thought it was gone. So long Google Chrome.

Hello all,

  After a harrowing and truly scary meltdown of Google Chrome ( at least on my computer ), I thought I had lost my blog also. Long story short, here I am.


  I did delete Chrome and computer is much happier.


  Let's see. I recently passed 13 months since filing for VA disability after my 21 year Army career. Seems the wheels at the VA have cranked up a notch in the last month or so. Still waiting.


  Not too much else going on, aside from unrest in too many countries to list, including the United States.

An unusual token. Numismatists at the ready.

Hello all,

  I need your help. Years ago I discovered a coin with unusual markings to say the least. No discernible date or legible writings.
Remarkably, using extreme magnifying glass, and finally digital camera on macro resolution, did I finally discover ' W & H CO NEWARK NJ ' stamped on the reverse.

  I did a lot of online searches and discovered that the Whitehead and Hoag Button Co made a lot of stuff between 1858-1959. Medals, celluloid pins, buttons and coins. My problems is as such...out of all the coins they made....I can find no record of this coin. 

     I assume this is the face of the token. A lady with a sash or ribbon
and an arm and hand on the right ( offering two somethings ).

This is the reverse of the token. A lot more going on here. Many symbols. 5 sets of three dots. Snakes. Under the bottom scorpion symbol is the text...barely discernible here. Triangle and a few more symbols.

Welcome to 2014

 Hello all,

 Been away for much too long, at least when it comes to the ins and outs of Politics in America.

 Here are the 'ins':  Hey, it's 2014! Happy New Year!

Our Congress and legislators at all levels. Democrats cutting Veteran Benefits same as Republicans trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act....oops. Obama care. 

Oil Spills that have not been cleaned up or paid for...Thanks Exxon.

Nuclear reactor messes that are far from contained.( Thanks Japan )

What we can do. I cannot do alone. I cannot travel to each State to collect the 2,500 signatures to be allowed on the ballot.  I must work to provide for myself and my family. I need everyone to share this and future posts. Spread the word. I am RUNNING for PRESIDENT in 2016!

 I will be a "write in candidate" only, as I cannot travel to all 50 States, either now, or during my two week vacation during the next year.  I ask all Veterans, all Friends, and all Americans to COUNT ME IN for 2016.
